Yearning to rainbow
When I am young
My grandmother who had seen the rainbow in the sky said.
That is The snake of the heaven.
My grandmother speaks only the word of Miyakojima. The rainbow is a
snake of the heaven.
I saw the snake of the heaven on the wave also in the cape in the
hometown. I picked the white lily flower while eating the truth of the
snake that grew in the rock in the cape.
When autumn comes
Eagle's large crowd flowed in the blue heavens.
Night of midsummer.
My the torch was shone on with the uncle, and did catch of the
crab.
I caught the ruddy kingfisher with the friend and played.
These events are old already far stories. This furnace and I heard
whale's love song in the strait of Kerama where the whale swam. The
blow that the whale had blown up also saw the snake of the heaven at
that time. I think that there is my hometown in Okinawa still.
Hereafter,
I keep taking a picture of nature in the hometown and the snake of the
heaven (rainbow).
「てぃんぱう」＝天蛇＝虹への憧れ
幼いころ、雨上がりの空に虹を見たとき、宮古島の方言しか話せない祖母が「てぃんばう」（天の蛇）だ、と指差した。台風が過ぎた東平安名崎で、まだ荒れ狂う波のしぶきにも天の蛇（虹）を見た。岩礁に這うポーヌミー（ヒメクマヤナギ）の実をほおばり、テッポウユリを摘んだ。寒露の頃、タカの大群が、青空に黒雲となって流れていた。真夏の夜。松明を照らし、伯父と一緒にマクガン（ヤシガニ）を背負った。裏の林で、竹馬の友と馬の長い尾っぽの毛でわなを仕掛けて、アカショウビンを捕えて遊んだ事などは、もう遠い昔の話。 このごろ、ザトウクジラが甦った慶良間海峡で、海底から響く不思議なラブソングを聞いた。海面から吹き上げたブローにもあの時の天蛇を見た。まだ、沖縄には、故郷があると思う。これからも故郷の自然、虹（天蛇）のシャッターを切り続けたい。
